  • Another new old timer

Hey all, I've been lifting off and on (mostly off) since I was a teenager. I always do well for a while and then give up after a few years. I'd get frustrated at the lack of progress and/or life would get too busy etc. But that was then, this is now. I have managed to maintain weight lifting as a consistent part of my life for the last 4 years solid, in spite of many serious life challenges. In fact this lifestyle has helped me stay sane in some crazy circumstances. I'm in my late 50's, I'm on TRT, and I finally have the discipline and perseverance to truly succeed! My dream is to compete in a Bodybuilding competition some day, probably the old man category, lol.

Hey man great to hear. Thanks for posting that story up and great to hear you are lifting during this quarantine.

For me I have barely lifted for 2.5 months now due to lack of gym, and after lifting steadily for 24+ years now, this is the first time I have had such little weightlifting and I hate it

Can't wait for gyms to re open.
